This Privacy Policy explains how Casa Christo ("we", "us") handles information. It covers two separate things, described separately below: this website(casachristo.com), and the mobile applications we publish (each, an "App"). It applies to all Casa Christo Apps unless an App provides its own policy that supersedes this one.

The two are independent. The website's analytics, described in the next section, run only on this website. No App contains them, sends anything to them, or receives anything from them, and nothing described in the website section is collected by an App.

Who We Are

Casa Christo publishes this website and the Apps, and is the data controller for the limited information described below. You can reach us at any time at info@casachristo.com.

This Website (casachristo.com)

We count visits to this website so we can tell which pages are read and roughly where our readers come from. The measurement is our own: it runs on our own domain and sends nothing to any analytics company, advertising network, or other third party.

Nothing is stored on or read from your device. We set no cookies and use no local storage, session storage, or any similar technology. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing on your device to ask you about.

For each page view we record:

• The page path you visited — never the query string, and never the full URL.
• The referring site, where your browser sends one.
• Your approximate location — country, state or region, and city — worked out from your IP address as the request arrives. Never your exact location: we record no coordinates and no postcode.
• The network you connected from — your internet provider or your employer's network, and the number that identifies it.
• The size of your browser window.
• How long the page was open and in focus.
• The position of any clicks on the page, as percentages of the page — not what you clicked, and never the contents of anything you type.

We do not record your IP address or your browser's user-agent string. Your IP address is read once, in memory, for two things: the approximate location and network above, and a one-way hash that lets us tell two visits apart. Your user-agent string is used only for that hash. Neither is written down. That hash is salted with a secret value that we discard and replace every 24 hours, so visits from different days cannot be connected to each other — by us or by anyone else. We do not record your name, your email address, or any identifier that follows you to another website. We never sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Legal basis. For visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we rely on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding which pages of our own site are read and roughly where our readers are, so that we can improve them. We judge this to have a minimal effect on your privacy because we store no identifier on your device, keep no exact location, and record nothing that follows you to another website.

How to opt out. This site honours theGlobal Privacy Control signal and the older Do Not Track setting. If your browser or extension sends either, this site records nothing at all — no request is made and no page view is counted. Both are free to enable and take effect immediately, with no account and no request to us.

How long we keep it. Page-view records are deleted automatically after24 months.

Our Apps

Everything from here on describes the Apps, not this website. The website analytics above are not present in any App. No App records your IP address, your city, or your region.

Information We Collect

Our Apps are built to collect as little as possible. Depending on the App and the features you use, this may include:

• Data you enter. Content you create in the App is stored on your device. We do not receive a copy unless a feature explicitly syncs or sends it.
• Diagnostics. If you opt in, anonymized crash and performance data may be collected to help us fix problems.
• Purchases. If the App offers purchases, they are processed by Apple. We receive transaction confirmation from Apple but not your payment details.
• Support correspondence. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

We do not collect your name, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers unless an App states otherwise and you provide them. We do not use tracking technologies across apps or websites owned by other companies.

How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the App's features.
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Legal Bases (EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process personal data on these bases: performance of a contract, to deliver the App's functionality you asked for; consent, where you opt in to diagnostics, which you may withdraw at any time; and legitimate interests, to keep the Apps secure and working correctly and to answer your support messages.

Third-Party Services

Some Apps rely on third-party services that process limited data on our behalf, such as Apple (App Store and in-app purchases) and crash or analytics providers. These providers handle data under their own privacy policies. Where an App uses a service beyond Apple's own, that App's App Store listing and in-app documentation identify it.

International Transfers

We are based in the United States, and the service providers we use may process data in the United States or elsewhere. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on the transfer mechanisms offered by those providers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Retention

Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or remove the App. Diagnostic data we receive is retained only as long as needed for the purposes above. Support emails are kept while the request is open and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference.

Security

Data sent between an App and any service we operate is encrypted in transit. Because most data stays on your device, your device passcode and backup settings are the primary protection for it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

This section applies to both the website and the Apps.

On this website, you can stop all collection by enabling Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser, as described above; the site then records nothing. Because website page-view records contain no name, address or account, we normally cannot locate a particular person's records in order to act on an access or deletion request — that is a consequence of collecting so little, not a refusal, and we will say so plainly if you ask.

In the Apps, you can stop all collection by uninstalling the App. Where diagnostics are optional, you can disable them in the App or in device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email us at the address above; we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California Residents

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. California residents may request access to or deletion of their personal information using the contact address above, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. In the EEA and the UK, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
